1976 was the first time that owner and founder of TD Metal Fabricators & CO., Mike Durrett set foot into a metal shop. At the age of fifteen, Durrett began working there part-time after school, sweeping the floor alongside the metal mechanics. After graduating from North Mesquite Highschool, Durrett dove head first into his new found passion for metal work and became a layout man, developing patterns by the age of twenty-one.
In 1999, at the age of thirty-eight, Mike Durrett founded TD Metal Fabricators & Co., a full-service metal shop, specializing in custom fabrication, residential project, commerical,and industrial concepts. Twenty years later, TD Metal Fabricators & CO. strives to achieve the extraordinary by taking pride in craftsmanship and excellence.
